RGSD schools are closed for scholars on Friday, January 16th, for staff professional development. The district office will remain open for faculty and staff.
Riverview Gardens School District will be closed Monday, January 19th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Classes resume Tuesday, January 20.

Congratulations to the 2026 NCCU MLK Oratory Contest Finalists and middle school winner, Kennedi J., from Central Middle School. Kennedi will present her speech as part of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration sponsored by St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20.

RGSD will host its annual districtwide elementary spelling bee on Thursday, January 22, at 10:00 A.M., located at Lemasters Elementary School,1825 Crown Point Drive. The event will be streamed live on YouTube at rgsdschools. https://aptg.co/lDR37D

To graduate from the Riverview Gardens School District, scholars must meet six key requirements to graduate: complete an individual career plan, take the required Missouri End-of-Course tests, pass the Principles of American Civics test and the Missouri and U.S. Constitution tests. Scholars must take at least two Post-Secondary Assessments and complete 24 credits in prescribed areas of study. For more information on graduation requirements, visit rgsdmo.org/graduate.
