*attendees are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the Father’s Walk.
Each walk will provide an opportunity for participants to engage with each other and the local community, demonstrating the importance of strong male role models in our children's lives. As we stroll through the neighborhood, we will emphasize values of respect, responsibility, and connection, encouraging positive interactions among families and local residents.
Doughnuts, light refreshments and music will be provided in this celebration of fathers.
“By walking together, we demonstrate our dedication to building a safe, supportive environment for our children,” said Deirdre Liddell, RGSD’s executive director of Student and Community Support Services. “This is also a celebration of the fathers, uncles, big brothers and mentors who play such an important role in shaping the lives of our scholars.”
Each walk will conclude with a brief gathering to share thoughts and experiences, fostering deeper connections among participants.
Join us in making a meaningful impact in our community! Together, we can set an example of unity and strength for our children, reinforcing the message that we are all in this together.
