During the 2022 session, the Missouri legislature passed SB 681 and SB 662, which require the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to rank local education agencies (LEAs) and schools using the Missouri School Improvement Program(MSIP) Annual Performance Report (APR) scores. In addition, DESE is required to publish a list of schools and LEAs ranking in the lowest five percent. LEAs in the list must inform parents and guardians of their appearance.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the following schools appear in the bottom five percent based on the 2023-24 Building Performance Report rating and ranking:

DESE-approved instructional and Leadership Support to Turnaround/Priority Schools work with Solution Tree - Solution Tree provides training, consultation, and resources to help schools and districts implement the "PLC at Work" process.
Instructional Coaches - Experienced educators who work with teachers to improve their instructional practices and enhance student learning.

Literacy Audit - A literacy audit reviews how well an organization supports reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
Extended Summer Learning Opportunities - enrolling for 3rd-5th graders
Renaissance Freckle - Renaissance Freckle is an online learning platform designed to help students practice and improve their skills in math (and other subjects)
Varsity Tutors - Varsity Tutors is an online learning platform that offers personalized tutoring and educational support for students of all ages.
Restorative Practices are strategies used to build a positive school climate and address conflict or misconduct by repairing harm rather than punishing students.
