Riverview Gardens School District will host a public hearing for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) on Tuesday, June 9. The public hearing will be held at Westview Middle School, located at 1950 Nemnich Rd. The public hearing will be held from 5:45 PM until 7:00 PM. The public hearing will be followed with an RGSD Board of Education meeting at 7:15 PM.
The public hearing will feature a State of the District address, updates on the District’s Annual Performance Review (APR), share progress on RGSD’s road to full accreditation and a community engagement activity to gather valuable community feedback.
Regular public hearings are required by DESE as part of Riverview Gardens School District’s provisional accreditation status.
Riverview Gardens School District encourages our parents, staff, scholars, community partners and community leaders to attend one, or both, of these meetings in order to be aware of what is happening in the District, including the successes, challenges, progress and plans.
As we seek to achieve our goal of regaining full accreditation, we cannot do it without continuing parent and community support and partnership.
