
Today, Glasgow Elementary School hosted a wonderful event for its scholars and their grandparents! 👴👵 Grandparents enjoyed lunch with their grandchildren, filling the school with warmth, laughs and smiles. 😄✨ It was truly heartwarming to witness the love and support that grandparents share with their grandchildren.

The Children's Hospital Healthy Kids Express Van is at Westview Middle School, providing school vaccinations for scholars. Scholars from all RGSD schools can come today (Friday, Sept. 12) between 9am - 1 pm today to receive vaccinations. Stay healthy and safe!

Students enrolling with RGSD schools must have a physical examination and an up-to-date immunization record on file before they start school. We are hosting a vaccination clinic on Friday, September 12 at Westview Middle School, 1950 Nemnich Road from 9 am to 1 pm. Walk-ins are welcome. The clinic is for RGSD scholars only.
If you're unable to attend our vaccination clinic you may utilize alternative community resources. For walk-in immunization support Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. please visit:

1. Clear backpacks are now required Pre-K through Grade 12.
2. All scholars MUST be fully registered before they can attend school. Also, there will be no in-person registration support during the first week of school. However, parents can register their children online at any time at rgsdmo.org.
3. RGSD's cell phone policy complies with the Missouri state law that bans cell phones in the classroom and at school events. No cell phones allowed!
4. Metal detectors will be in use at all schools and the district administration building for the 2025-26 school year. Scholars, parents and visitors must enter the building through the metal detectors.

The RGSD Back to School Bash is tonight (Thursday, July 31). See you at Riverview Gardens High School from 6-8 PM for games, food trucks, school supplies, resources, live entertainment and more. Meet school & district leaders, free haircuts and more.
Also, Saturday will feature two community back to school events.
The North County Back to School Bash is Saturday, Aug. 2 from 11 AM - 3 PM at the North County Recreation Center (2577 Redman Rd.)
There is also a Community Resource Fair on Saturday, Aug. 2 from 11 AM - 2 PM at the James Eagan Center (1 James J. Eagan Drive).
