Together for a Stronger Future

Riverview Gardens School District will host "Together for a Stronger Future," a series of community meetings to discuss the district's financial challenges, local taxes, business development, strategic planning and more.

District stakeholders are encouraged to join the meetings to share their insights, ideas and feedback related to the school funding challenges that RGSD, and school districts across the region, are facing. The solution-focused meetings will help ensure the community has a voice in important decisions and planning impacting the district.

The series will kick off with an in-person meeting on Thursday, July 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Meadows Elementary School (9801 Edgefield Dr.). The district will also host a virtual meeting on Thursday, August 6 at 10:00 am. Another in-person meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 18 at Westview Middle School (1950 Nemnich Rd.) at 5:30 p.m.

The community meetings are open to the public. The district encourages parents, area residents, older students, staff members, community leaders and community partners to attend at least one of the upcoming meetings.

Stakeholders are also encouraged to take the district's Ramily Budget Feedback Survey. The survey and the upcoming meetings will help shape solutions that ensure the district remains well-positioned to support student success.
