Rayshon M. and Peyton V. were named the inaugural Mr. And Ms. Teen Juneteenth at the State of Us Juneteenth Scholarship Program on June 13. Rayshon and Peyton were recognized by the Juneteenth Project for “outstanding academics in school and positive community leadership.”

The recent Riverview Gardens High School graduates submitted essays, displayed their talents and underwent training during the selection process. Both received scholarship awards of $2500.

They continue to be featured in Juneteenth events around the St. Louis region. Congratulations to our amazing RGHS students!
