RGSD is pleased to announce the new appointment of Tuesday Jackson-Beverly as its new district intervention coordinator.
In this role, Jackson-Beverly will lead the coordination, facilitation and oversight of intervention strategies implemented by support teams across the district. She will oversee the 504 process and analyze student data to determine the most effective interventions for students.
“Tuesday Jackson-Beverly is very familiar with our scholars. She has served in the Riverview School District for 17 years as a dedicated school counselor,” said Deirdre Liddell, RGSD’s executive director of Student Support Services.
“My mission is to ensure that every student receives the right support at the right time. Through our strong partnerships with mental health providers and social service agencies, we’re committed to delivering comprehensive resources that empower students and families alike,” Jackson-Beverly stated.
Jackson-Beverly brings over 20 years of combined experience as a K-12 school counselor and children’s social worker, having previously served as a school counselor at Riverview Gardens High School. During her time at RGHS, she conducted individual and group counseling sessions to address student needs related to academic, social-emotional development, mental health and crisis intervention. She trained and mentored new counselors, interns and school staff in best counseling practices and ethical standards.
“I am thrilled to step into the role as district intervention coordinator at RGSD, a new chapter in my professional journey, but one deeply rooted in a district I’ve proudly served for over 17 years,” Jackson-Beverly added.
In her spare time, she loves playing games and tends to be very competitive.
Fun fact, her name is Tuesday, but she was born on Sunday.
