Riverview Gardens School District (RGSD) is proud to announce its 2025 Summer Food Programs, providing free, nutritious meals and grocery options for students and community members throughout the summer months. The initiatives are in partnership with Operation Food Search, The Little Bit Foundation and Fresh Thyme Market and designed to ensure that no family goes without access to healthy food during the break.
Community Breakfast & Lunch Sites
Open to all area residents, free breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Friday at the following locations and times:
Danforth Elementary School
Breakfast: 8:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:25 p.m. – 12:55 p.m.
Glasgow Elementary School
Breakfast: 8:45 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
Lunch: 1:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Moline Elementary School
Breakfast: 9:15 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Lunch: 12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Central Middle School
Breakfast: 8:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
Riverview Gardens High School
Breakfast: 8:45 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Community Food Distribution
Families are invited to participate in drive-up grocery distributions at Gibson Elementary School, 9926 Fonda Dr., St. Louis, MO 63137, on the following dates:
July 17
August 21
Distribution takes place from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and offers bags of free groceries to take home.
School-Based Food Markets
Families can also "shop" for free food — including fruits, vegetables and non-perishable items — at school-based food markets by appointment. Markets are available at:
