Candace Ramey, Ed.D., will serve as assistant principal at Meadows Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. Ramey currently serves as assistant principal at Gibson Elementary School.
Ramey has served as the assistant principal at Gibson Elementary School since 2018. She also served as assistant principal at Westview Middle School from 2017-2018 and served as the interim director of Michelle Obama Early Childhood Academic Center in 2020.
Ramey earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. She also holds an Educational Specialist in School Administration from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. Ramey also earned a Master’s in Education from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Saint Louis University.
