Riverview Gardens School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie A. Terry as Chief Financial Officer. A seasoned financial executive, Terry brings more than 20 years of experience in public finance, budgeting and strategic financial management to her new role.
As CFO, Terry will oversee the district’s financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency and alignment with the district’s educational mission.
“Mrs. Terry’s depth of experience in financial leadership and her commitment to educational excellence make her an invaluable addition to our team,” said Tanya Patton, Ed.D., RGSD’s superintendent. “Her vision and expertise will help us build a stronger financial foundation that supports student achievement.”
Terry most recently served as the Executive Director of Finance for St. Louis Public Schools, where she managed a $400 million budget, streamlined procurement systems and provided strategic financial guidance to district leadership. Her career includes a successful track record in managing multimillion-dollar budgets, implementing cost-saving strategies and enhancing financial processes to improve operational efficiency.
She holds an MBA with a focus on Management Information Systems from Lindenwood University, an MSA in Public Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Finance from Fayetteville State University. Terry is a Certified Administrator of School Finance and Operations (SFO) and holds a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University.
In addition to her professional achievements, Terry is an active member of the Missouri Association of School Business Officials and the Association of School Business Officials International, where she contributes to leadership development and professional growth in the field of school finance.
