Riverview Gardens School District serves students and families in the surrounding areas of Riverview, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Moline Acres, Castle Point, Glasgow Village, Dellwood, and small portions of Ferguson, Jennings and Unincorporated St. Louis County. The Riverview Gardens School District values meeting the social, emotional and academic needs of all students by offering a wide range of academic opportunities, extra-curricular activities and specialized programs. Approximately 5,200 students are enrolled in the district’s 12 schools. Riverview Gardens High School matriculates hundreds of competitively prepared students into over 35 colleges and universities each year with the class of 2014 receiving over $3 million in scholarships. Committed to providing high-quality programs for students prior to Kindergarten, Riverview Gardens offers an early childhood program accredited by the Missouri Accreditation of Programs for Children and licensed by the Missouri Accreditation of Childhood Care and Education. The Riverview Gardens Parents as Teachers program received a National Losos Prize for Excellence awarded to only three centers in 2011.
